X-ray & Electron Generators – Detectors

High-voltage radiation sources for demanding industrial applications

Drawing on extensive expertise in high-voltage and vacuum technologies, AVELION provides specialized electron beam generators and compact X-ray tubes for advanced industrial applications, including internal surface sterilization and operation in harsh or confined environments.

Electron Beam Generator for Internal Surface Sterilization

  • Operating energy up to 125 kV
  • Specific nose design for insertion into bottles and flasks
  • Controlled electron beam generation
  • Compatibility with industrial sterilization processes

The electron beam generator is specifically developed for the sterilization of internal surfaces of bottles and flasks used in pharmaceutical, medical, and food packaging applications. Operating at an energy level of 125 kV, it delivers a controlled electron beam capable of achieving effective surface sterilization while limiting penetration to the container walls.

The generator incorporates a dedicated nose design that can be inserted directly into the container, enabling localized and uniform irradiation of the internal surfaces. This configuration ensures high sterilization efficiency, enabling repeatable and efficient microbial inactivation without the use of chemicals, while minimizing exposure of external areas.

Engineered for industrial use, the system provides stable beam generation, precise energy control, and robust mechanical integration, making it suitable for demanding production environments.

X-ray Tube for Downhole and Harsh Environment Applications

  • Compact high-voltage X-ray tube design
  • Designed for harsh environments
  • High precision manufacturing and assembly
  • Advanced vacuum and thermal management

Avelion manufactures compact high-voltage X-ray tubes intended for operation in severe environments and confined spaces. These tubes are designed to deliver reliable X-ray generation while meeting stringent mechanical, thermal, and environmental constraints.

The design emphasizes miniaturization, vacuum integrity, and robustness, allowing operation under high temperature and pressure conditions. Precision manufacturing and controlled joining of dissimilar materials ensure dimensional accuracy, electrical insulation, and long-term stability.

These X-ray tubes are suited for advanced diagnostic and imaging applications where reliability, compactness, and performance are critical.
